Hold on to your cash, gamers, because it’s the year where Nintendo turns the tables on the PS4 and Xbox One with it’s latest over-the-top gaming console: The Nintendo Switch. And after the Japanese gaming giant’s Nintendo Switch live video presentation in Tokyo, it looks like they plan on taking the gaming world by storm.
According to CNET, the Nintendo Switch will be available worldwide on March 3, and will cost a sweeping $300! But with the features the switch brings to the table, I guess it’s worth the price. Check out the nifty features of the Switch below.:
If you’re up-to-date on news (and rumors) about the Nintendo Switch, you know that the switch isn’t your ordinary home-console. It’s got this really cool feature that turns this home console into a handheld console, giving you the opportunity to take your “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” with you on the go.
No need to strain your eyes when taking the Switch on the go — with its 6.2-inch screen, playing graphics-heavy games won’t be a bother. The device will also be touchscreen, and will have controller ports at the side so you can keep your hands off the screen for a better playing experience.
The Nintendo Switch’s controllers are just as interesting as the device that it has its own name. The Joy-Con consists of two individual controller pieces that can be attached to the sides of the Nintendo Switch device, each piece has four buttons and an analogue stick. There are also hidden buttons on each piece of the Joy-Con, so you can use each piece individually when you want to play multiplayer mini-games on the switch with the guy beside you in the bus.
Massive game library
With every console launch, gamer looks forward to one thing: the console’s game library. Games are the bread and butter of consoles, and without a good set of games, you could expect to watch a console die. Apart from “Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” which will be a launch title for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo announced that more titles asr currently under development for the Switch. these game including:
- Splatoon 2 – Summer 2017
- Fire Emblem Warriors
- The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – April 2017
- Xenoblade Chronicles 2
- Skylanders Imaginators – March 2017
- A new Shin Megami Tensei game
- A new game in the No More Heroes franchise (from developer Suda51)
- NBA 2K18

Excited for the Switch? I know I am. March is still two months away, but if you got $300 on you right now, then you should get yourself a pre-order!
